Well I thought Bankruptcy was to help but it seems all mine is doing is making this “fresh start” with “fresh debt”. I have to come up with money to keep my car because I was responsible and paid it off, so now I get to go borrow some outrageous loan amount to keep my old car to go to job to be responsible. Now the trustee is taking my tax refund and I needed that to pay my house taxes. For God sake – I have nothing to show for “my debt” either – I wasn’t irresponsible, I don’t have cable, no big screen anything, barely a roof – I just got “taken” when buying my home to start with and once again the law wasn’t on my side. What a crock our “legal” system is. The bankers who caused the collapse of the economy making it people lost jobs or now get no pay raise if they have job – well THEY get bailed out, were allowed to gouge us on rates at random causing more bankruptcies and the damn law is STILL on their side. Why don’t they HAVE to re-buy everything or lose it ALL? So they still make money and the lawyers I’m sure are loving it too with their “new rates”. Mine told me very little, I had to research everything on mine own and hasn’t fought for me one iota, and yes, I still have to pay them too. You read information on bankruptcy and it’s always some random “could be” answer and never consistent. So the law it seems is like being in Vegas, hit or miss, who knows how the cards are dealt, or who wins or who loses playing the same identical game.. What a joke of a system is all I can say!
